On November 28-29, LexField Law Offices was invited to host two IP seminars in Osaka and Tokyo, Japan. In attendance was a total of 60 IP counsels from large Japanese companies covering the electronics, automotive, machinery, construction, environmental and pharmaceutical industries.

The organizer began by delivering a keynote speech, followed by a brief introduction of LexField. From there, the managing partner and head of the trademark department Ms. Jan Liu, the head of the trademark litigation team Ms. Hairuo Zhang, and the head of the trademark enforcement team Ms. Grace Guo gave presentations on recent trends in China's trademark registration/application, trademark opposition and invalidation, trademark registration/application strategies of overseas enterprises, key issues and implications of well-known trademark recognition, prevention of malicious trademark registration, as well as border measures to protect trademark rights in China. Through follow-up exchanges and Q&A session, the attending guests not only gained a better understanding of our professional capabilities and high quality legal services, but also had a deeper knowledge of China's IP protection system.
